You won’t regret buying the Galoupet. I served it at a dinner last week and it really merits the DWWA Platinum Award. Fantastic with scallops.
A return to a couple of favs and some new bits and pieces. All for drinking now(ish).

Particularly looking forward to tasting the Bohorquez.
Speak to my other half!
On my way home from Vienna picked up this pair at the airport.
They were on offer @ €17 each, which I consider a bargain! The Umathum is from 2016.
That is one lovely wine!!
The words “picked up at the airport” and “bargain” is something I never thought I’d hear!
I must say I was surprised as well, still the riesling smaragd of Domaine Wachau is £25 with TWS, and I just bought one of those last week, well worth it…
So that’s where all the Burlotto went this time
Picked these up last weekend during a quick visit to the showroom:
(Both of the final 2 were reds, I guess because they were bin-ends their image is of a white!)
TWS Ready-to-Drink Mystery Mix. Obviously not all cases are created equal, but I’m more than happy with this lot - especially the 2015 Weinbach Alsace P.N. which justifies the whole enterprise (I wish it was available to buy separately!)
From a personal perspective I’m especially pleased by the lack of Claret/ Burgundy, because this is all about drinking great wine which might not be seen in the cellars of Chateau Lapin.
At £149/ 6 not cheap, yet in my opinion this is very fair value for money.
That’s a great selection!
Great wines ! Lucky you and I’m sure you will enjoy every one .

I was blown away by the Bohorquez 2009, so desperately needed to order more…
That Gallinardes cndp was seriously expensive on the list. Worth half the price of the case on its own.
Couldn’t resist the Prum, but need everyday wine at the moment. Love the W/S Gin’s value and have high hopes for the W/S Whisky’s chances of being our “house” tipple.
Had sworn off buying anything this month, as wine cellar overflowing, bank account the opposite, then saw a whole new list of Burgundies and Bordeaux on the site - Drat. Luckily, the wife’s away.

I’m intrigued by the Anjou Cab Franc…! Did you have it before?
No but the 2 Rosé’s I’ve had from Bougrier were very good value. Seem to be a really solid producer at the value end.
